It is when you connect your head with your heart that you really get balance in your life, and in your soul. This morning I went up at 5, (you can read more about the 5 AM club by searching on the site for the tag the5amclub), and started with some Yoga with Adrienne. Today it was a session called Up your connect, talking about connecting your head and heart. Yoga is about placing your head and heart in line, and being aware of this in your different poses, to connect through the spine, all the way in your body, from feet to the top of your head.
Besides the physical yoga practice, this is also about connecting your head – meaning your mind, your thoughts, with your heart – meaning your emotions, your feelings. When head and heart are aligned, synchronised, you will feel a balance in your body and your soul, and get a happy, positive attitude that will help you tackle the everyday life situations and challenges. Being stronger and more balanced within.
