Do you love yourself and treat yourself with the same consideration and respect that you want to get from others? If you do not, the risk is that no one else will see why they should either.
Try to be your own best friend.
Think about how you treat your best friends. Probably you are there to support them, ask them how they are feeling, supporting them when they need it, and you are most likely a very loving and caring friend, right? So start seeing yourself as a very good friend! Check in regularly to see how you are feeling, and listen in to what you need. Ideally every single day.
A very good way to do this is during your daily morning yoga. Start with a few minutes silence (meditation if you wish) and just listen to both your body and mind. How are you feeling today? Your mood? Any special feelings in your body? Anything else that needs special attention? Once you know, you can take care of it. Like you would if it were your best friend in need.
Finally, do not forget that you are already perfect, exactly the way you are! And you deserve all the love you can get, from yourself and from others 💕
